This service can assist you find temporary accommodation while your home is being repaired or rebuilt as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes. We can help you find a place within the private rental market or at one of the temporary accommodation villages.

Earthquake support coordination
This service can also connect you to a team of Earthquake Support Coordinators who will assist individuals and families directly affected by the earthquake, including those who have to be relocated while their homes are rebuilt or repaired, or while land remediation is carried out.
Earthquake Support Coordinators can meet with you anywhere you choose – your home, place of work, or a café. They can:
- help you to work out what you want to achieve and develop a plan
- provide information
- connect you with services
- undertake referral and application processes for services needed
- facilitate meetings between you and the experts.
